This release fell into my lap a midst a bunch of promo's and when I listened I was floored by the level of bottom heavy sludge and gurgling vocals which were awaiting me. This Danish group unleash such a thick and sludgy sound reminiscent of earlier carcass and acts that have payed homage to Carcass especially General Surgery. All of the song titles are in the bands native tongue so I have no idea what is contained here but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

Those low toilet flushing gurgling vox mixed with some creative musicianship and that thick sound makes Misantropologi an enjoyable listening experience. The band keep things at a mid paced level chugging along occasionally speeding things up with some blast beats, great time changes, breakdowns and tempos.

Undergang definitely deliver one of the more unique sounds and listening experiences in this genre of music. This three piece deliver some heavy tit hanging aggression and David Mikkelsen's vocals are a highlight but the sound especially that bass by Sam Osborne just weigh that sound down to low level heaviness.
