Hailing from Reggio Emilia - Modena, Italy!
It seems that the land famous for culinary adventures, gourmet food products, homeland of the mob, good raunchy porn (Rocco Siffredi) and classic horror movies from Lucio Fulci, Dario Argento, Antonio Margheretti, Enzo G. Castellari, Ruggero Deodato and  modern horror directors such as Dominano Christopharo.

Italy do also hosting some wicked brutal death metal bands such as Antropofagus, Devangelic, Sickening and of course Logic Of Denial. A relatively young band who have been around since 2007 releasing a couple of demos Art Of Psychophagy and Spirals Of Downfall, then unleashing their first full length in 2010 titled Necrogenesis.

Now on the ungodly label Comatose Music these brutal lads are dousing listeners with gasoline and watching them burn alive with the onslaught of Aftermath. Said to be an album about the different stages of the grieving process Logic Of Denial waste no time in ripping the flesh clean from your bones with this vicious onslaught of frenzied, chaotic yet highly controlled brutal death. Each track is just unbridled fury and it never lets up.

Mattia Gatti's hell fueled guttural vocal onslaught is ear melting and it melds perfectly with the grind assault of Alessandro D'Antoine and Marco Carboni's guitars making these guys a tight and intense package of hyper nonstop brutal death metal. The drums never stop blasting and those bottom heavy bass lines from Marcello Tavernari ring out great in the down tuned mix.

Beneath all the brutality we also get some great technical merit and some slam parts thrown in for good measure. Aftermath creates such a wall of sound and atmosphere its powerful and awe inspiring for brutal death fanatics because it never lets up and should be a release in every self respecting death heads collection.
